Ascent partners with Skyport for amazing new solution

February 26, 2016 by Pete Fox, Vice President, Cyber Services

It’s a very exciting moment in the history of our company. We’ve been working hard on new ways to reduce our customer’s exposure to Credential Theft, which is the leading cause of breaches, according to the 2015 Verizon Data Breach Investigations Report.

What was once available only to the largest companies in the world is now affordable to companies of any size! On December 15th, 2015, Microsoft issued its latest guidance on Securing Privileged Access. This critical insight, shared with the world and gained from working in preventing and remediating breaches worldwide, has formed the basis of a series of offerings from Ascent Solutions to help customers reduce their threat exposure to Credential Theft.

Through a deep relationship with Skyport Systems, Inc., Ascent is now able to integrate the rich set of security features of the Skyport SkySecure enclave into its service offerings to customers. A series of new features, being announced today, are being demonstrated at the RSA Conference, February 29th through March 4th at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA. We’ll be helping support Skyport’s booth at RSA Conference in booth #N3445. Please come see us there while you’re at RSA!

In order to provide customers with the fastest path to security, Ascent Solutions has joined the Skyport Partner Program, and becomes the first Skyport Partner in the upper Midwest. The two companies have focused their complimentary capabilities on the Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and Identity Management space. An initial set of three use cases have been defined and are now ready for ordering for Red Forest Active Directory Enclaves, Secure Branch and Secure Cloud Integration, all pre-bundled on the Skyport SkySecure platform. We’d love to talk to you about how we can dramatically reduce your exposure to Credential Theft, and how Ascent and Skyport can speed you on the path to greater security.
